Description
The Rippy Rose is a revolution in seam ripper technology. The patent pending petal design gently separates the fabric and guides it to the blade. Holding the fabric with two hands allows for greater control and reduces the chance of cutting the fabric.
Never have a dull seam ripper ever again. By using a rotary cutter blade, there are multiple edges to cut the seams. When all the edges get dull, you can simply rotate the blade small amount to reveal a fresh edge. Finally, when (after a LONG time) the entire blade gets dull, it can be easily replaced with a new 45mm rotary cutter blade.
We proudly 3-D printed these Seam Rippers in Pennsylvania with premium multi-color filament. Because of the nature of the multicolor filament, no two Rippy Roses will be exactly the same. Consequently, there will be variation from the images above.

Picked up a couple at the Oaks show. One for a quilter friend and one for me. Awesome tool, lately it seems I do more un-sewing than sewing. 😉 I also really like that rotary blades get a second life, especially the ones that are perfectly fine except that tiny ding received 5 minutes after changing it by scraping a sliver of acrylic off my ruler. Such a clever idea. I wish you much success, can’t wait to see your next big idea.
